Rodent Control

Rats, mice and other rodents are known to carry and spread a variety of diseases, viral and bacterial such as typhus through fleas, infectious jaundice through urine in water or food, and rat fever through bites.

Additionally, rodents can cause food poisoning by contaminating food or food preparation surfaces.

Signs Of Rodents:

Droppings: They are usually found around food packages, drawers and under the sink. Most droppings can be found where they nest or feed.

Nesting material: Rodents use materials such as shredded paper, fabric, or dried plant matter.

Gnaw Marks: They are often found on food packaging or the walls and floors of your house.

Odor: Rodents’ urine has a distinctive ammonia-like smell if you have a large number of them in a particular area.

Behavior / Habits

Rodents can reproduce quickly, giving birth to about a half dozen babies every three weeks and can produce up to 35 young per year. This makes it very important to take proactive measures to prevent an infestation from taking root.

Rodents forage for food in small groups of up to ten and tend to return to the same food source time after time, following the same pathway between their nest and food. They are also highly adaptable and can survive in a variety of environments.

How do I prevent and control rodents in three steps?

Step #1 (Trapping)

Placement of the newest and most effective capture equipment along with a non-toxic bait. This equipment will be checked by our trained technicians regularly for bait additions and rodent removal.

Step #2 (Monitoring)

Placement of locked, tamper proof feeding stations that are fixed around the perimeter of your home or business. These stations use an anticoagulant rodenticide to eliminate your rat or mouse problem. Frequent monitoring will be performed.

Step #3 (Exclusion)

Sealing of all accessible entry points into the structure, and applying entry limiting screens to all pipes and additional travel routes mice and rats use to gain access to your home or business.
